I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
i have mounts welded in the bumper.

Yeah they are bad ass I can't wait to do some testing with them on my rig. I'm a distributor now so I'm going to be doing a lot of testing of these on the Tacoma and start the trend of SASed Toyota's running these. I think more guys would run them if they seen them all I can really find is Jeep's and buggies and that one Toy.

Looking good Jerry ! I knew you told me you had a solid axle lined up, but damn I figured leaf springs!? Trucks came along way! Looks good man!

Dang Silas. Makes me want to look into those ORIs. But don't know how long links would last in mud and everything else I go through, my truck isn't always clean nor is it show worthy. Any one wanna chime in on longevity of parts on a link set up?

Either way I'll probably be changing out parts faster.
Or stick with leaves and go links if I go Tons (when I get a tow rig)

    Piff no leafs here

As for links in the mud if you go with a rebuildable joint like a jonny joint or Ballistic you could just rebuild them as they need it. The ori's are made for rock crawling so i dont know there longevity in the mud. I would assume they would last as long as any shock in the mud. And they are fully rebuildable and its pretty affordable for a rebuild.

FYI, ORI's aren't anything new, and you're not trendsetting by running them on a Toyota. There are all kinds of Toyota's running them on Pirate. Hell the Blue Toyota on the UA last year ran ORI's.

There is literally nothing new that can be done when SASing a first gen. Every possible combination of links/leafs etc has been done. Maybe not over here on TW, but they have been being SAS'd for over ten years now. So your geometry may be slightly different. So is everybodys the first time they adjust there links.

Not trying to shit on your thread, just calling it as it truly is. That being said, I am really interested in how this turns out, and check everyday because I think there might be an actual update instead of more babble. :p

Its always interesting when a fab guy does a project like this because the quality of the work is above the average joe. Looking forward to seeing the final product

Yeah so do I but can't figure out how to bolt them up not enough room. I'll try a little different things to see if I can get it to work.

I'm designing the rear truss now and cutting and welding it on this Sunday. I've got a pretty bad ass design in my head so I hope it turns out that way :D I think it will

You guessed it this rig is a staple of what we can do. I will be going to more off road events such as KOH not this year :( but next year. The truck is getting wrapped with logos once all the body work is done
