Had the truck out at the New Mexico adventure travel expo today and had some killer rigs setup out there. Was a perfect day with warm weather.

Been awhile since an update. Saw a post here showing this switch system similar to switchpros and sPOD so for $200 I decided to try it! YouTube unboxing coming soon and review to follow that.

Went out to the lake for the weekend. Decided that I want a roof rack basket or new racks all together to carry some recovery gear. First time sleeping on the decked and it wasn’t bad at all but I think a self inflating mattress such as a therma rest or exped would make setup easier. The decked worked flawlessly. Oh and I got a new toy to pull behind the truck:bananadance:

    Update: 9-4-18

Sorry guys for no updates recently!
I finally decided to order the 5100’s that give me 5” if lift so I can remove the large spacer I have now. I started on some new retrofits going to do an all black set. I also added a little freedom to the build. I’m also in the works of doing a new wrap. Any of you guys have any suggestions on the new print?

Can't wait to see the retrofit done! My favorite thing I ever did to my truck so far. Are you going to run the new RCD extended 5100s with stock coils or other?? How was the ride with the 5100s at stock height and the 6" lift spacers?

Thanks man I love my retros now just want to do a new color. And yes RCD 5100s with toytec 620lb coils. And it was pretty good but I didn’t like how the truck drive with the DB bump mounts and wheelers superbumps so I removed the DB bump mounts and I’m currently exploring 4” bump stops so I’m not riding on my bumps on the road.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a good plan.

Yea retros it’s like you’re always thinking about the next time you wanna open your lights up and what you’re going to add or subtract or change paint etc etc haha. I get it.

Installed the RCD 5” lift 5100’s with toytec top hat to make for 6” lift 5100’s. While I was in here I decided my truck is due for a complete detail of the undercarriage and suspension... need to get new tie rod ends. I really need to get my ass in gear to get the truck where I want it... big mods coming soon!

Need to further my cab mount chop more... also I kinda want to switch to SPC UCAS for better results on the alignment. New ride is great just need my 35”s to not hit the cab and that would be great...

Decided to get a set of Kings made since the 5100s truly are not what I was wanting for the build. I called DSM and they were helpful and gave me a killer deal on a set. Also decided to go with 650lb coils they recommended for the arb and future winch. Next is to get a rear spring pack made to fully get rid of the blocks.

Woo-hoo! I was able to snag a set of @mesojdm map lights for the rig. Can’t wait to to get them in the truck! Also I fudged my current retro fit project so I think I will go with tacomabeast headlights since those have been the best looking for a decent price or let a reputable headlight builder make a set for me. Also my new wrap is in! Just need to peel my current setup and prep for install. Hoping to have the truck ready for camping season

Hope you guys had a merry Christmas! I got a little work to the truck done today and installed some J cradle kayak mounts. I don’t know if I’ll leave them up for the winter.
