I'm a both renter. I rent my space for $100 bucks a week.. I can work as much or as little as I want........as long as I pay my 100 bucks at the end of the week. So therefore I do NOT have a boss. LOL

Well, with Avaya you have some very marketable skills there. I work on mainly Nortel products now. Most of the other stuff I worked on is ancient stuff now, Rolm, Siemans, Tie, ect. We do have a couple of Avaya IP based switches in our network as well but I don't take care of them. Wish I did.

Wow, a lot of computer/tech geeks hanging around here. Not that I have room to talk. Info Sys Tech in the Coast Guard, working on but not limited to Nortel and eOn PBX's, pulling/terminating copper and fiber, installing and maintaining Cisco networking equipment (includes programming(and not very good at)), network administration for Server2K3, microwave radio install and maintenance including dish installs, testing of DS1's and errr thats all I can come up with for now.

That's good. You've got options. With your mechanical abillity, thats a realistic goal.
