Pulling off the rear King "kang" shocks tomorrow to be sent off to be rebuilt by @desertjunkie760 and putting on temporary bilstein "billies" 5100s. I will right up a review going from kings to billies as I only know going from stock black shocks to kings. See how well they handle.

Got the kings off for @desertjunkie760 to rebuild for me. Pretty nasty these bad bitches have done some service and are in need of some. but super easy to take off after I released the nitrogen no Jack needed. I had to drive home without rear shocks which was surprisingly comfortable and fun with the extra flex and body roll with a plenty of control in the front. Soon I will have billies 5100s in the rear awaiting the rebuild freshed up kangs.

Shocks are in after pro tip advice from @YumaTRD "cuss at them In spanish" to properly motivate them into place. Im about to go for a test run and see what the billies 5100s do.

Lol I put one on and bounced in the bed to see how it felt. I see how you could have made it with one of them on the baja 166. but it still would have been terrible lol

Changed out my first set of front brake pads after 87k. Super easy I was always intimidated to do it myself. From the looks of it should have done it awhile back.

Kings are rebuilt @desertjunkie760 are back on and bilsteins back ups are off on reserve for a later rebuild. I was gonna do it the right way on a lift. but I'm really stubborn and love the cheap thrills of using a harbor freight chinesium farm jack without jack stands not knowing when the next seismic activity could occur. Shocks went in really easy with the tires on. So much better especially the urban assualt mode in them. Test run with refreshed shocks proved at speed I will need the cab chop mount done for sure @YumaTRD which was never a problem I had with 265/75/16 I now have with the 255/85/16s

There actually doing good I'm assuming because of the good coils vs my really soft stock springs and icon prog AA. They definetly don't look like my rear shocks did.

But I'll definetly let you rebuild and revalve them like 10% stiffer compress/rebound for the all pro bumper and skids and such.
