I've haven't seen anything about it. Do you actually get more HP or is it just a fancy way to change the throttle response?

Retunes the engine response to shifts and you can input your tire size and gear ratio to optimize power and response to shifts. I think it has a better benefit for autos but people do it with manuals too.

Basically trucks were optimized for stock gearing/ tire size and this lets you change that to make your setup the new stock for the cpu. Can add back hp and some mpg as well.

This definitely sounds more beneficial for automatics. When my truck was AT, I always manually shifted the gears. The stock tuning does everything possible to get to top gear as fast as possible. It always felt like it was in the wrong gear and never held a gear long enough.

I'm not sure how much the tuning would help the manual unless you can show clear HP gains or moving the max torque point lower in the RPM range.

I was gonna say the same. Back bleed it using the brakes. Crack the brake bleeder, hook hose from that to slave bleeder and start pumping the brakes. Should see bubbles coming out of reservoir

Damn it. That's a good idea. I think I got it bleed pretty well. The key was pushing the pedal slowly to avoid breaking the big bubbles up into tiny micro bubbles.

I still have a list of truck projects, but my 4 yr old decided to make a car wash for his Hot Wheels that turned into a flood. He plugged the sink and left it running for at least an hour.

Shit happens. I couldn’t stay mad at him for long. We’ll get it fixed up better than new. Just gotta let everything air out for awhile.

Pulled my sliders off after 3yrs. Figured I better clean up the frame and get Fluid Film on before it gets too cold. Only a could of spots that need to be touched up with paint after all this time.

Need to grab a little paint and touch up a couple hot spots then lube up with FF.

That’s pretty impressive then. I would have expected worse, especially with how salt crazy Baltimore area is.

I spray FF in between the frame and the mount flange as best I can before every winter.

No, the u-bolts weren’t tightened yet in this photo. Still have a 3° pinion to DS angle and a decent vibration at about 45-55 mph. Need to dial in the carrier bearing spacing.

On those nuts for the ubolts. The nut isn’t threaded all the way on the ubolt.

Oh yea that’s why I said this....

There’s almost 3/4” of threads sticking through the nuts now that they are torqued.
