I had no problem with him, as he was great coach and had quite the legacy. However, it seems that he didn't do enough to prevent an assistant coach from raping children.

Shitty statement? Fact: Joe was a hell of a coach ; Fact: He indirectly aided in the repeated raping of children.

How about you put morals before a dumb ass sport.

You're telling me I like raping children? GTFO.

No but seriously, I have two kids if my own, and I fucking hate sandusky. But you know what, I hate to see Joe's legacy go out like that. But shit has already happened and.it.is.now past for Joe. He was a hell of a coach, and made a hell of a positive impact on PSU.

I am no longer discussing this. Not the right thread. If you want to bitch out of the.forum ill send you my number. :D

Thanks for changing the post title mods. Also, let's not turn this into a shitstorm over past events. I am not a PennState fan but the man did do wonders in college football. If you feel the need to say something positive please do, if not, keep the comments to yourselves. His bad decisions are between him and god now.

Joe's legacy? You mean how he put football and university reputation ahead of the safety of children? Yeah, that's some legacy we ought to preserve.

He's a piece of shit. Not as bad as Sandusky but he deserves the worst all the same. Fuck Joe Paterno. Fuck Jerry Sandusky.

This is exactly what he did, and it's a real shame. His legacy will be forever tarnished by his inaction, and it should be.

Never. There is something seriously wrong with your moral code if you think this man is still something or someone worth celebrating. I genuinely hope you do not have children.

I'm sure everyone's heard now, but looks like the thread title can be changed back as he's actually died now.

Good. I hope all the positive things he has ever done are overshadowed by his support of a child molester.

Joe Pa went to his superiors, one of them being in charge of the campus police dept.
The whole story will come out, McQueary has told 12 different stories. It'll come out

He went to his superiors. Great. That clearly accomplished a lot. Why didn't he go to the police?

If he was really praise worthy as some of you seem to think, Paterno would have gone to the police immediately and would have been a real hero, not just some football coach who helped cover the tracks of a pedophile.
