Nice. Looked into it but was extremely pricey up here in Canada. The Dc-Dc charging is the way to go now, and the solar abilities make it a slick unit. Install looked pretty easy on it as well. I ended up with the blue sea system, so far so good.

Also you guys were talking about balance for batteries and what not. One reason I went with my second battery in the bed (contemplated both batteries in there really) was not to damage the core support up front. They are known to crack and the wheel wells collapsing under the weight. Thats under years of rough roads and what not, but I figured thats the direction I would try to avoid.

Sorry @Joe23 for crowding the thread.

I've spent quite a bit of time in Canada !
It's strange to see prices there ! There never seems to be any rhyme or reason for what's a lot more expensive there and what's not!
But to be sure everything I wanted there was ( more expensive ) !
Come on down here we will get one and install it !

Its the tax. We get taxed out the ass on everything. That ARB compressor would've been over $1000 after tax if I paid for it up here. I got it with the Jeep already installed. I sold it for $800CND.
It's a great unit but selling it wasn't hard when it took up so much space, was well over my needs, and I got plenty of money for it when it was already about 5 years old.
But everything is expensive up here. Its not even just the tax its the bullshit shipping fees that it takes to get it up here.

I've ordered stuff from Rochester NY, that would've shipped for free within the US, but wantd to charge me $85 to just send it a little ways north. Less than 800KM away. As soon as you cross borders it gets expensive.

That's very similar to the one from Offgrid Engineering that I want to go with.

Pretty much designed it off that, but set it to my needs. Let me know and I can help ya piece it together and save ya a couple bucks.

I looked at Matt's kit I'll probably just end up going with it. It works perfect for the 3rd gens, and from what I priced out, the amount I'll save is marginal, and the quality of Matt's stuff is great. Found out what type of crimps he's using and impressive shit man. Very close to the same stuff I'd be using at work for terminating large cables in mains.

So you got the arb bumper then? Or did you just install that hook?
