Not normally a fan of BL's but after seeing Adams, I will probably be getting one someday. I just wouldn't go over 1".

Trucks looking good. It's probably somewhere in this thread but any info on that softtopper? I've been eyeing them because it looks like they could fold up to the back of the cab on top of a toolbox. Does it keep rain out?

It's pretty sweet, easy to take on and off. But you definitely wouldn't be able to use with an over the rails tool box, since it would interfere with the attachment bar for softopper. Here is a pic of what I mean, note the aluminum piece that runs alon bed rail.: ururabas_373a58bfd5d5a788aedb5d0d78f7c9175a53bcfe.jpg

Sad to say that the clicking I've been experiencing was from the wheel spacers.... No idea wtf would cause that. Anyways , I emailed BORA to see what they can do.

Oh and I was checking ball joints and steering... Can't even see what is going on with tierods since the bushings are so shot haha. I'm fixing that with energy susp bushings this week

In thinking about it, I'm not sure I'll run spacers... This gave me pause. The only explanation I can think of, is that the spacers were shifting under side load and braking... We'll see what bora has to say but I'm not very stoked about running them...

You do know that wheel spacers put a lot of stress on the hubs? Doesn't matter if you have IFS or SAS, there's a lot of stress that is being put on the hubs.

Long story short, you might end up replacing your bearings in your hubs sooner then you think. However, 1/4" wheel spacers have almost no effect on the hubs. You would need longer wheel studs though.

Yes, I know the risks. The clicking and what I assume is shifting of the spacer is no bueno... Gonna leave them off until I can assess the steering system after bushing install.

Ugh, truck looks and feels so weird without the spacers. I think I'll try them again once rack bushings are replaced and take pics along the way for BORA. Dude said they've never heard of that happening.

I was thinking, maybe the wheel bearings are going, and that extra little bit of strain makes them click? But I don't get why it would click under braking. Who knows...

I want to say 90? I gave it a little extra umph since I didn't want them coming off. Used red locktite as well.

Lol yup that's right. I was going to try to install my LBJ and OTRs and maybe top plate spacer tonight. Not sure what torque its supposed to be but that sounds tight enough, hopefully it's not too tight. Hmm I didn't use lock tight but that shouldn't really affect it. Sounds like either a wheel bearing or a mystery problem to me. I would figure out how to replicate the noise driving back and forth in my driveway so I could get a better idea of what it is.

Yeah man, I don't get it. Was gonna clean hubs and spacers and install with antisieze to keep the corrosion down... Rusty as hell where the spacers were.

Good talking to you today lol. The steering rack bushings weren't that bad, just tedious and annoying. Makes a world of difference.

Truck looks good, how much lift did you get from the 882's?

882s provide a good amount of lift. I'll say this since I looked at 882s for quite sometime before going with ICON, I recommend that you at least have a front bumper on the way. With a front bumper installed, they provide a great amount of lift, but with no bumper, they provide too much lift. Others may disagree, but I went with ICON since the front coilovers are adjustable.

All in all, I would just recommend getting the 883s or 881s and when you get a front bumper, then going to over the 882s, but if you can afford coilovers that are adjustable, go with that instead. 100% worth it.
