Ha well if you start taking it apart and get stuck or something I'll back you up. Helps to have extra hands and eyes for sure. How many jack stands do you have?

 

You'll need two on the frame to support the @$$ and two on the axle to help keep that mofo from shifting.

 

I have 4 jack stands. Two creepers. A low profile floor jack. A truck floor jack. and a ton of ratchets but I was thinking of picking up two large jack stands that extend 30 inches...

 

Prolly good to have as much height as possible. Mine are the tall 6ton (I think?) and they are on the top rung to get wheels off ground when drooped

 

I was looking at two 12 ton. They are pricey but something tells me this wont be the last time I do this and the truck will only keep drooping more and more over the years with the mods I have planned.

Alright, so been thinkin... After the rear bumper is on, prolly gonna check out the sound system a bit. Drove my pops g37 today and remembered how much I miss good sound.

Thinking of going with an alpine head, type s components up front (I think they sound better than type r), and one of those boss bass1400 subs under seat if it will fit or behind back seat... That should do it.

 

That would sound great john. I been thinking of that speaker as well..... currently have a 10" mtx in a big square box that sits at my son's feet (ghetto, I know..lol). Gonna have to pull that shit soon, he's growing to fast

 

Sick! Did you change out doors too? And where's your amp?

 

Not yet, it sounds "ok" for what I listen too... my amp is behind the passenger rear seats. Really tight fit! Lol

I didn't try it, I have a bunch of stuff that I keep under my seats anyways. The speaker that u are taking about doesn't come with a built in amp? The one I'm talking about does, its a 10 I believe. I'll text my buddy today and ask him, he works at a radio shop. Cool thing is, the whole thing fits right under the seat, and the thing sounds great

 

I'm thinking of going external amp and speaker after all but stealth. Yours fits under the seat though? I'm confused haha

 

Lol, my bad. My amp would fit under the seat, but not my current speaker. The set up I want is small enough that it would fit under the seat. Box with built in amp and speaker

 

Gotcha! Well I put a nice little Xmas list together... class d mono block made by Sony ~300 watts rma @ 4ohm, a shallow mount pioneer 10" around 400 rma 4ohm, kenwood deck w/ front/rear usb connectors, car audio factory box for behind back seats.
