Shocks relocated and frame plates welded on. I'll get some flex shots up at some point with the good camera, but couldn't make it happen tonight. So far the ride feels better, but that could be my imagination.

 

I like your truck. A lot.

Looks nice! Did you do those welds?!? I wonder if the ride feels better because the shocks have better travel in that position or something? Maybe they are at less of an angle than they used to be? (More vertical)

Guess I shoulda read up a little before I posted haha. Whatever happened to that welder you were supposed to hook up?

those leaf springs look like r u that heavy in the ass end?

 

Yeah and from what I read the dakars sit flatter. That said... I'm tempted to add another leaf. And yeah I have a lot of weight. Bamf bed rack plus RTT and the rear bumper/swingout.

 

This is just a soft idea haven't looked into it all, but if I did add another leaf what would be the leaf to look for?

Edit I do have my two original leaf packs, guess I could pull from those :-/

 

I just received all my OME stuff. I went the Dakars, but I ordered the add a leaf because I plan on bumpers, bed rack, RTT, etc very soon. I think they OME add a leaf was pretty cheap.

 

I have the OME AAL as well as 1" lift shackles sitting .25" from level. But good choice for sure! U have a build? On tapa so can't really see right now

I have 1.5" shackles and I'm doing a 1" body lift as well. All my OME stuff and body lift be installed this weekend. I plan on starting on Friday.
