Really excited, a fella. I ride the train with every day is giving me his Lincoln 220v stick welder!!! Definitely gonna make use of that :)

Planning to start with rear bumper, swingout and rack. Got some ideas for the front bumper as well as skids.

Yeah! Need some practice before we get to cray cray. But I really like the way capturecolorado did his bumper, would like to mimic that idea but maybe not as intricate with the curves and angles, trying to keep it a simple(ish) first project.

Edit, when I say cray cray, I mean your sas ha

I don't either haha. But luckily I own the breaker (townhome) so... Guess I Will learn how to run wire and add a 220v hookup.

Not a tough job, did it in my old garage in about half an hour. Jealous of the welder!

Yeah I'm really stoked. Was wanting to get a wire feed but this is free... :) plus a good challenge. Supposedly if you can learn arc welding, the rest is cake.

This is true! I started with arc before doing MIG and TIG. The basic principles are pretty much the same so learning with the toughest type (arc IMO) makes MIG easy mode. I miss my wire feed...

I had a buddy help me with the 220v conversion so it would probably take a bit longer solo. But its just a matter of switching out the breaker and wiring your new box/outlet

Checked everything out for trip to Lagrange... Got my bamf proportion thingy installed. Took some flexy pics in the construction zone 100 yds away...

Def need to cut more.. Rubbing like a mofo on the fender. Matter of fact I might pop them off permanently one of these days.

Edit, oh and I got to play with the grey wire mod to get up that gravel in 2wd \m/

If your just rubbing in the back pick up some axle relocate plates from 4-crawler. Can move it back or forward 3/4 or 1 inch.

^ This will help for sure. Hard to tell from the pics but it looks like you have room behind the tire.

Yeah I think the 3/4" might be the way to go. Some day. It's really not too bad. I stuffed pretty hard today and cranked on the skinny pedal and nothing blew up :) almost thinking of taking the flares off... Not sure what I'd do then, maybe bondo/paint the holes or cut for bigger tires.

Here are a few that pnoybos5 took today... Sorry for stealing them...
