    The badges are from a second gen Tacoma. We removed the 1st gen badges via fishing line, like flossing a tooth but your pulling off the badges. The line goes between the body and the badge removing the sticky gunk. Once off, we cleaned and waxed the area they were on. We then took the 2nd gen badges, cleaned off the gunk, etc. from the back and spray painted them flat black. After drying, you cover the back with 3M double sided tape and cut out excess unwanted tape with an exacto knife or razor. We then stuck them on the truck. There are previous pages on this thread that shows us doing this.
