Hello, Just joined tacoma nation as I traded my 2014 Scion FR-S for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma Texas Edition. I always wanted a Tacoma after seeing my buddies 2000 tacoma access cab. He would go off road with that thing and it just blew my mind how a stock truck went everywhere and anywhere the big mud trucks went. Having owned 2 Tundra TRD's in the past i just had to try a Tacoma this time.

I guess just for kicks I'll attach my previously owned vehicles until now. I will say my 2008 Tundra was amazing and hopefully the Tacoma will be my new favorite. My only question at this time is off road capability vs the TRD version, I was told the texas edition has the bilstein shock equivelents on it.. but if not no big deal truck should be every bit as capable I do some off road trails often in sand and easy rock climbs along with occaisonal river/mud crossings.

Here is the list of cars I have owned up till now.
    1987 Pontiac Firebird v8
    1987 Pontiac Fiero SE
    1993 Mazda MX3 GS v6
    1984 Chevy s10 4speed 4 banger
    2000 Chevy s10 5speed 4 banger
    2000 Chevy s10 Trailblazer v6 auto
    1992 Mercury Cougar
    1992 Mitsubishi 3000gt SE 5speed
    2006 Toyota Tundra doublecab trd
    2008 Toyota Tundra DoubleCab TRD
    2014 Scion FRS 6 speed

Wow I'm about the polar opposite on the vechiles owned scale. I have had four in my life my average ownership span is six years only because I sold my first car when I enlisted. Actually I really only owned three my first car I didn't pay for the Tacoma I paid in cash first time I ever did that.

    1985 Honda Accord (two years)
1991 Honda Civic (wish I still had it eight years)
    2000 Honda Accord (eight years)
2015 Toyota Tacoma (plan to keep for a long time)
