Jointed drive shaft install

    2006 Tacoma SR5 V6 4.0L 4 wd access Cab
    So I broke my drive shaft in 2 places and have ordered a new OEM driveshaft to replace it. I unfortunately have no idea how to line up the drive shaft with the transmission and rear differential since both ends have moved independently. Can't seems to find any videos or threads about this so any help is great!

    Under a tinfoil hat
    Vehicle:
    ‘25 SS Red Sport Prem.
    Put the e brake on. Rear diff flange -> attach -> center support bearing -> attach -> have truck in neutral, rotate output flange -> attach.

    I guess I'm understanding that. As long as the u joints are aligned within 3 degrees and the drive shaft is balanced then it doesn't matter the position of the transfer case compared to the rear diff.

    @Skeeter_wv If the driveshaft came assembled, I’m pretty sure it’s balanced and in phase. Don’t think they’d be in business long if you have to re-do their work.
