jokes on me, trade for another taco.. that I can't find?

I want to trade my truck for a double cab automatic. And all I find are base 4wd or even better yet, that prerunner thing. Shit.

Haha painted myself into a corner? Bought a popular truck but it's to the point where everyone else bought all the other ones I'd put on my short list?

Is the base 4wd decent? Just lesser suspension right?

None have good quality shocks, so consider it a cost savings to get a base.

Not sure you heard, but TRD trucks don't get any further off road because of their TRD stickers.

You won't be missing much with a base model if that's all you're able to find. The aftermarket provides better options than Toyota does on the "upgraded" trims.

I've called dealers and they say they really wanna see my truck and that it's rare and blah blah. But the numbers on the deal have to make sense. I'm not sure they would on a much lesser equipped model. Maybe an sr5 or whatever, not familiar with them though

Base 4wd (DCSB Auto) is just what I wanted. Very happy I made that choice.

 

yeah i just got off the phone with yet another local dealer, no one seems to have much. ugh. maybe i dont need a TRD, no time or money anytime soon to wheel my truck anyway xD

can an aftermarket diff be put in the base 4wd? im assuming it can, shouldnt be a big deal..?
