went up to the mountains this weekend cant do to much with 2wd but i still try to push it

my friend didnt realize how deep the ditch was

damn because I SWEAR i couldve seen your truck there not too long ago. like 2 weeks ago. did you happen to be there recently? sorry im not a creeper i just think its funny. just how i saw a tacoma from custom tacos on the 60 twice then on youtube..

about a week or 2 ago i was in a faclty parking lot waiting for a friend to get out of a class haha id tell ya what building but i dont know the school to well

 

HAHAH FUCK then that was you. you were with some other dude werent you? i saw you going up temple or whatever and was like.. shit ive never seen a 2 dr taco with those headlights.. very nice.. lol. well i was driving a green tacoma with no bumper. if you look at my pics im pretty sure you will recognize.. but wow..SCARY! haha i did see you in the parking lot btw with a girl getting in i think. i was walking to class .lol

that would be sick but its probably not likely cuz now the second gens are out and will slowly replace the first gens

and i think your lights are a whole lot smaller than the second gens so its tougher to do much with them

 

sorry to get off topic but what mountains are those.

 

Looks like a great time! That is the kind of stuff I am looking to do. Not so much the hardcore off road, just getting off the beaten path a bit to enjoy the outdoors.

 

it is nice its not to tough most parts there are some difficult parts and some places yuo can find a challenge buit i liked that
and these are the mountains right by my house i live in pomona and i can see them from my hows im not sure what range it is, i took the 15 north and got off on kenwood and found the trails just go off into the mountains there are so many over there

 

whhere is this place you drove? i got some sick pix when me and a buddy went to Los Angeles National Forest, i about rolled my truck, im at my work computer "working" so ill have to wait to get back to my main one to post...but again where is this place? looks fun

 

i took the 15 north to kenwood i believe its the first exit after the 215 and took that up alone the 15 until there is a left hand turn idk the street i jsut know what it looks like and that goes for alittl ethen turns into a dirtroad and off of that a bunch of trails break off jsut for street legal cars its sick, the main dirt road goes and connects into the back road tht goes into the city where mthigh is if you know where that is i forget what city that is but its legit.. i found a way over the one ridge that takes you over to serria and into the creek there

 

maybe we should meet up one of these days, after i get my new taco lol...im pretty excited about it, 35k truck, and i got it haggled down to 29k, just waiting on the final ominous-dominous, and of course my car loan approval lol

 

for sure i cant wait until i can afford a full size something with 4x4
id say lets go but i go to school in pa and im leaving in about a week, i only jsut found these trails so i was mad that i couldnt explore into them alittle more cuz there are so many
next summer tho im definatly gonna stay out here longer and try to hit up the cleghorn trip too
