We got 60 pages worth for ya right here on this unit :)

But no lag, not sure if it works with the cam, but it should. Everything is plug and play (as long as you dont have JBL, then there might be some extra steps)

100% Plug and play, with the single caveat you'll need to pick up an OEM GPS to SMA adapter. https://www.discountcarstereo.com/sumi-sma.html
No lag under any circumstances. Zero, zilch, nada, none.
Got no info for ya on the germes lab cam compatibility.

Joying should pay me for all the people that ended up ordering corolla headunits from them after I found the fit :)

Yep I knew :) I sent them a msg to tell them that the corolla headunit works in tacomas also, so they asked if they could use my pictures.

Their accessories I dont have any experience with, but I wouldnt mind trying out their dash cam since it hooks right into the headunit.

So just the barebones unit is enough minus the gps plug adapter?

You will need the one with the canbus, it's like $10 extra total.

Looks good, but having a JBL radio would have given me a pause in the first place. My 05 4Runner had the JBL system, and even back then before Maestro and whatnot it was a bitch trying to get a simple Pioneer single din radio to play nice with that damn thing. Thankfully Metra came out with their 1st gen JBL adapter bypass module, and after that came out I finally had aftermarket nav but that whole experience soured me on getting a Toyota with JBL in the future.

On my current truck I made sure to get an Off Road bare bones, so to speak. F*ck JBL they suck doesn't even sound good it's no Mark Levinson that's for damn sure.

Getting back on topic hope that iPad on a dash Chinese radio works out for ya at least it looks really nice on the truck...

I have a Joying head unit but no JBL. Mine was pretty easy to install and works well. I did have to reach out to Joying about the steering wheel controls and they responded and helped me right away.

Worse... the signal from the camera is just trash to start with, so when you blow it up on a bigger screen it looks even worse. But im not trying to get HD video of my kids bike parked behind my truck, I just need to know its there.
