Andddd today I went out to fool around with some friends at a gravel pit/old industrial park and messed up a headlight doing go fast stuff. Broke a halo off of the shroud inside my passenger headlight so it is just rattling around in there, but the same halo had a few leds go out last month so I had to crack it open anyways. Tempted to try making something different than just halos as DRLs so if anyone has some ideas I’m all ears. might do amber halos or some backlit stuff or RGB or maybe some straight line leds instead of just halos who knows.

I then tried to climb a gravel pile a few times and got my back tires a few feet up on the pile then tried a different spot that turned out to be a bit steeper and stuffed the front end into the gravel. Bent my license plate all up and scooped up about 10 pounds of gravel into the front bumper. Pulled my skids off and spent an hour picking gravel out of the trans cooler/radiator because I didn’t want it rattling around in there for two more weeks.30E9F97B-C6B5-4261-988E-CD338F14D56F.jpg

They clear ok on the street ignoring the windshield fluid reservoir. Just got all my supplies together for tubbing the firewall if I can find time here soon.

Hoping to keep the flares but I’m sure they will be butchered up based on the rear.

1.25” spacers and the wheels are 17x7.5 +15 offset. I haven’t rubbed frame yet but my sway bar is on and I haven’t cycled the suspension much so it probably will just a bit on compression.

You can see in this picture what I had to cut on the back of each wheel well to get them to clear on the street. Hammered firewall back and folded ouch weld as well but not as bad as I thought it would be. Still need to tub to cycle suspension.
