They will clear no spacer with 33/10.5 but you should get 35s.

My banks says no, no dollars for gears or tubing

another option you could maybe get away with is the solo arms, maybe no tubing.

I can tub it myself for free. And Im not doing gears. It does good enough at 75-80 for me. Before I mess with anything else (gears, long travel etc.) I need a separate daily.

Done with cab tub job for 35s. Probably spent 20 hours total including a couple store trips and an hour searching for a wiring issue that was just a relay that popped out.

Removed tires, struts, fenders, bump stops and pulled back carpet and wires inside cab then cycled suspension and started cutting.

Ended up about like this on each side. I highly recommended grinding with a wire wheel before cutting as it is a pain after. I hammered back the section to the right in addition to cutting here.

Also had to hammer the upper front engine bay compartment, cut a fender support out, remove wiper fluid reservoir, and cut bumper.

Welded plates in and was humbled trying to weld this thin with a shitty flux core HF welder
    BA3CF4B9-2397-4E6D-9D2C-F66097925455.jpg

Seam sealed and put a rubberized undercoat on it, cut fenders 1” (a bit more at the lower rear) and re installed to check clearance

Had some electrical issues after (no gauge or accessory lights in cab and no tail lights) which turned out to just be a loose relay.

I have my flares cut and ready to re install I’m just lazy and wanted to go test it. I’ll get them on before my next trip out.

Still need to trim out the rear a bit more as well.

What does the cab floor look like after you do this?

I’ll get a pic tomorrow. I notice the loss of foot room and haven’t fixed up all the trim and carpet yet. Carpet and my husky liners sit a little funny but still works.

With carpet and liner, still need to install the trim piece to cover the wires and that side
    98272340-8119-4260-8EB3-933F46D0F50C.jpg

I seam sealed inside and outside of both sides then hit both sides with a rubberized undercoating. I think the cold kept it from drying so some of it is messed up and I’ll have to re do it.

Pretty tight on driver side with all the wires and crap.

    Timing belt done.

Installed winch in bumper. Smittybuilt X20 10k fits in the first gen ARB but it is tight and there is no great spot for the control box.

Where did you end up mounting the control for the winch?

It is on top of the bumper between the 9” lights about where the above pictures show it. For me to get to the switch on the control box had to hammer the shit out of the light bracket. Mounted in place with a cut up listened plate off center because the wires are very short.

You can kinda see it here on top of the bumper

Got a matching spare and a cheap old used softopper that needed work to change up the look.
