That's awesome! I ordered matte black te37 for mine but they haven't showed up yet. Will you be sticking with 33's or going 35's?

This pic is from showstoppers. They arrive from Japan on 3/16. Yeah I’m sticking with 285’s. Eventually I’m regearing to 4.30 as well. I got my gears, I’m just waiting for my mechanic to free up

Yeah it’s been a long time coming for that mod alone. It’s time to dump Ovtune and get something more specific to my mods. Can’t wait!!

Well it is all in, the URD headers and URD tcai. The tcai fitment was absolute dogshit!. First off the instructions are out dated, no buggy but the principle. The hole to be cut had to be adjusted to shave more off. The “L” tube coming from the throttle body and turns toward the firewall had to be cut by about 2&1/2” to 3” and lastly, the bracket holding on the other pipe leading to the filter had to be modified with spacers to push it away from the radiator support. I get things may need to be tweaked, but that was a little insane.

in a month I’ll get a regear and cam gears installed. Tomorrow I do my hptune.

Is Justin doing your tune? You should tune it after the cam gears so you don't have to do it twice.

Yeah he is. I’m gonna go back and look through my pm’s with him because I swear I asked him about that and he said it wouldn’t affect the tune either way

I know you can put the gears in with a stock tune no problem, but I was under the impression that the tune can be even better if gears are installed. Let me know what he says, I'd like to know for sure.

How did the truck drive with the new parts?

Just found it. He stated the gears make their own power and don’t need a tune for them. However, because it retards the timing the tune can be made a little more aggressive.
I see it as gears give more power but keep it safe.
Gears and tune make more power but a tad aggressive
