What kind of power are you hoping your setup will make after the tune? Curious what these v6's can do with a s/c'er and all the goodies.

A true dyno would give exact numbers. I assuming with what the end will provide will be in the vicinity of 340ish maybe a little more. I could very well be off but not by much. I’m not after a number. Just a good amount of power over stock with true reliability. There are some guys that have ported out the intakes, added very small Pullies, added meth, custom fuel rails and injectors. That’s cool and all just a little more aggressive than I want to be

I installed my wescott designs 1” added lift to my TRD pro Fox suspension today. I had 1/2” top plates that gave me a little height before this. This setup puts me a tad higher than I was. Now I’m at 2.75 in front and 2.25-2.5 in the rear due to adding a leaf into my icon rxt pack. .....love the stance now!! Pics to come tomorrow.
I also think I found my issue with what I thought was my URD intake. It’s actually a rasp coming from my exhaust after all. It seems to be coming from my y-pipe and mid pipe area.....still a little more investigation needed......

Do you have pictures of the seats? Seat swaps are so cool, ever since I swapped my seats I love to see other examples.

Lol yeah. I was gonna do the Corbeau Baja Xrs seats. The whole point of me doing this was to lower the seat height because I’m 6’1”. The Baja’s were gonna lower me like 1&1/2”. After a little more research I found these which lowered me like 3&1/2”. I love where the height and my point of view is now.

Nicely done! Lots of love in your truck. How does the HPtune compare to the TRD tune? One of the mods I’m looking at (when I supercharge) on my purchase yesterday.

Thank you. I’ve been very careful in how I add what I do to keep it looking clean and not overdone. Hp tune is night and day. The TRD tune is a very rich tune. Toyota made it that way to be safe. Hp is totally customizable. There are 2 people here that do a phenomenal job tuning people remotely. Nd4sdbh does a great tune for the auto transmission that everyone raves about. Justdsm is a god that does the tunes for the rest. They can both help you if needed. Even if you don’t go with an s/c they can still help you get more out of your truck safely.

Thanks! I can tell you’re ocd with your truck and it shows. I’ve looked at the Mag system and the Procharger kits. I know the mag kit would look more stock, but the Procharger is pretty nice with the numbers. Prices seem to be fairly close l, also

If I could do it all over again I do the Procharger in a heartbeat. The only thing I’d look into is the fuel pump helper they provide. I don’t remember what they call it but it just wires into the fuel pump to help with the added demands. Seems like it would be much easier to just swap the stock fuel pump entirely to a 255lpm pump. That system rocks for sure.

I was just reading that thread. Impressive for sure! I’m assuming you would need injectors along with the new fuel pump? Plus, install easier and cheaper..

There are some guys on the s/c thread that swapped injectors to bigger ones because they had a group buy going on but not really because their builds needed it. All of our trucks are very similar in modifications. Sure bigger injectors add some benefit however , keeping the stock 455’s that came with the TRD (maggy) unit was still very suitable. If the Procharger unit comes with injectors, then yeah they should be swapped to that. If not, I’m sure their r&d that they put in into producing the system covers it just fine.
