Judging a Food by it's Texture

Ok so I know this will upset some people but you can't judge a food by it's texture. I'm not necessarily a picky eater but the foods I don't care for aren't because of their texture it's because of their taste. I hear people say "it's a texture thing" (my wife included). Well, how does the food taste? Lol!

Let's hear it...

 

People don’t like what they don’t like.

 

Taste, texture, temperature, smell, presentation.

Food is an experience to be enjoyed by the senses, not shoveled into one's maw.

 

No blended steak for you.

 

Is microwaved ok?

 

Only if you inject it with cheez whiz

 

Your wife don't like the McRib?

 

Grapes are disgusting, like eating eyeballs.

 

Abalone, only had it once, extremely chewy.

 

Clams are like eating tongues.

 

I don't even think cheez wiz on a Philly Cheesesteak was edible! Give me provolone! lol

I can't stand brussel sprouts! It's not the texture...it's the taste.

And speaking of texture....okra is horrible for texture! lol

Don't get me started on grits. Buahahaha!

But somehow, I like cream of wheat.

 

I can put looks aside, MAN I HATE THIS TEXTURE. BALHGBHAHGHS

I'm not really sure to be honest. I'll have to run that one by her.

 

I'd say all the ingredients of a McRib have a weird the roll the rib patty onions and pickles. It does taste good.

 

Okra is good can't really chew it though.

 

Poi. Kinda like snot.

 

Shredded coconut. Tastes good, texture nope

 

How bout these little guys...

 

Coconut really gets stuck between the teeth. It can also be very dry.
