July 24-25 Camino Del Diablo Trip

i dont have an offroad section anywhere

wikied camino del diable, says the trails suitable for four wheel drive high clearance vehicles... how high clearance and why do they say 4 wd?

I really like the prospect of this trail. Going to need a lot more information about it though in order to make this happen. I would be so down to do this but here is the way I see it for this trail:

1) Going to need to either camp out or stay in a place near the trails beginning
2) Going to be a very hot, going to need to start extremely early
3) If this happens, there will be a list that needs to be made in which everyone must have the items listed in order to run the trail, so safetly in case anything happens.

I realize its on a bike, but I am starting to get an idea of why they mentioned 4wd. I think with enough momentum and maybe driving along the trail in some area's, a lot of us 2wd guys should be able to make it.

Nice dude! Peep that out and see if there's some other options. But honestly, I'd be fine with the this trail....it seems perfect.

Ill need new tires for this, Some 33" would be a nice upgrade from my 265's

 

Have you been on it recently? I went up not to long ago and the trails all rutted up from the winter, the same spots I was hitting 55+ were washed out. Good thing someone was in front of me otherwise the trucks suspension would have looked like blackhawks after the accident.

 

im going to try to get my 295's by that time.

General AT2 most likely. Its either that or the BFG A/T and well I like being different lol
