July Mod Day (feeler)

Hey guys and gals of the PNW. I'm putting this thread together as a feeler for a mod day in mid to late July. I'm thinking the weekend of the 18th/19th might work best. So far I've got tentative interest from @PugetSoundTaco and @WrecklessAbandon. If you're interested, let me know and I'll add you to the list. Location will be dependent on group size. If you have the ability to host, let me know how many people/trucks you can accommodate and whether it's indoors or outdoors.

@Bertw192 - no mods needed (extra set of hands)

@WrecklessAbandon - mount skids and CMC (need a competent welder)

@PugetSoundTaco - BAMF leaf hangers

@msgs350 - OBA and light bar install

@El Duderino - ditch light install

@Kidwidataco - helper/U-joint and carrier bearing install

@Tacodog - bumper install (early July)

@nguyedar - no mods needed (extra set of hands)

@FJ to Taco - no mods (may attend)

 

I still need to bolt up my skids and do a lil CMC chopping

I’m planning to order ARB OBA and some brackets to install a 30” BD S8 in my bumper

 

Be sure to order that light bar wiring harness.

 

yeah..got that $80 harness and but waiting on the combo switch.

 

Depending on location I need to get my ditch lights on

 

Being on the list isn't a commitment by any means, and dependent on distribution of folks, this may turn into multiple groups in multiple locations.

What’s going on? You finish that lift?

 

How about a mini mod day. I need to get a rear bumper installed by the 5th. It’s outside so need better weather.

 

Do you have lights to install in the bumper? How about sensors?

A bumper alone is a super easy install. It's the wiring and sensor swap that eats up the time.

 

Yes to all. Right now I can’t lift that much.

 

I could help, recently all alone and single so a mod day would be fun!

 

I'm pretty good with wiring, but I'd like to learn other things as well. I could go for a full U-Joint and carrier bearing replacement but that seems like a lot more work than everybody else.

 

Oh! Is this a HC bumper? Because that's a horse of a different color. Cutting is always nerve racking

 

Just remember, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Enjoy being single and selfish... I miss those days.

I think we could figure that out... could be a good learning experience for all.
