    Take this thread for example:

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/354318-another-center-console-organizer-6-a.html

OP posts about a new center console and says he will post back when it comes in with a review. In some other sites, there will be a little thing you can click that will take you to the next post in the thread the OP has. It would work with any poster inside the thread. Maybe one person brings a great idea to a thread and you want to follow that person's posts inside that thread..

It makes it very easy to follow a specific persons comments within a thread that might otherwise get lost amongst the hundreds or thousands of other posts.

For a working example see the World of Warcraft forums from Blizzard. Every time an Admin posts a little blue blizz logo shows up in the lower right of the post.. clicking it jumps you to the next post from that admin.

There are Grease Monkey scripts that allow you to view only the OP's posts. It's a great way to follow a build or something which is not "interactive" (meaning most of the replies will be "nice build" or similar).

Any thoughts on this, is it explained well enough?

As I said, you can install GreaseMonkey and look for the script that does it for you.

If you're a glutton for punishment, go to the forum the thread is in. Look to the right and click on the "replies" number (it's highlighted). That gives you a list of people who posted in the thread. Click on the post count.

The later forces you to go through the posts one-by-one. The former takes a little effort but you can open a thread, tick the box and see only the original poster's messages.

Like Ian mentioned, there are some GM scripts to do this...however this will really help with the forum workflow and should probably be a default feature. I will get this made.

Thanks Bob, I looked into the scripts and I'm just not familiar with them. Never used a script to navigate a forum, they do allow some cool features though. For anyone wondering, this is what it would look like:

They use it to allow you to follow an Admins responses in a thread..

    Thanks!
