I just made a leap from my 4Runner SR5 to Tacoma SR5. Big or shall I say little jump! I was excited to get the truck for a bit more added tow capacity and ability to haul things in the bed vs internally but oh my! I wasn’t prepared for shorter, a bit more cramped and really less cargo space! Giving it a go and thinking it will grow on me? I do miss the height I had in the 4Runner. Not all SR5 are created equal. Looking forward to learning whatever I can!

I went in to get the mats that they gave me since none came with it, and mentioned my thoughts since driving it a bit more than down the street and back. They were perplexed. I explained. Hoping to make the best of it, not seeing over traffic any better leaves me a bit disjointed. I can adapt and drop the hitch some so I can keep my bike rack attached and open the tailgate.
