Here is a video on how to take off the taillights. Leds go where the factory bulb is currently.

The reverse bulbs would be the easy ones. It's the driving bulbs with multiple connections that should certainly come with instructions (actually all should).

If you are going to sell a product you should be prepared to have install directions accompany the product you are selling without having to chase down said directions on the Internet or call the manufacturer. Another strong turnoff would be smart ass comments when inquiring about their install procedure. I'm guessing you could end up with folks just sticking them back in the box, sending them back and asking for a full refund along with a certain amount of bad press. The kind of things you wouldn't want if trying to get a new company off the ground.

    Just my .02.

^wow 44 posts. You are nothing but wrong in your statement. People usually come here, ask questions, which then turn into PMs and then usually turn into people calling Chris and he walks them through the install. Some people are not very electrically inclined, myself included. When I watched Chris install MY lights, I felt pretty stupid because it was sooooo simple. For those not near enough to have him do it, a simple phone call and you'll be good to go in minutes. It is REALLY not that hard.

I would say at least a third of TW is running Chris's LEDs right now...I'm guessing you didn't flip through the last 110 pages of "returns" before you opened your mouth.

Chris (aka CSJUMPER2003) does not accept any returns. I tried to return some products that didn't fit my truck & some I wasn't happy with. I ended up having to sell them to someone for a loss.

Guys I do my best. I havent made those instructions. In 2 years it hasnt been an issue. I take care of people. Coming to my for sale thread and saying this is obserd. Loaded taco you need to stop. You troll my thread waiting a few months for someone to say something and jump in. Really. As far as a smart comment, I wasnt making a comment at you. All I said was I didnt want someone confusing someone, by saying something about an install. Running lights I have instructions for. Because there are so many other instructions out there I havent made my own. Sorry about that. I need to make some install videos, I just need to find the time. I apologize for that.

While yes, he does have written instructions sent with everything he sells. I called him and he guided me in how to install the HID's and LED's that I could not install on my own. Are you trying to install the HID's headlights? I can write up a quick guide with pics on how to do it if you would like. I suck at narrating a video so. Lol

Quite honestly, it should not matter how many posts someone has or does not have. If you purchase a product, ANY product, it should come with instructions!

I'm not here to bust Chris's hump about it, but it's clear HE knows this is something that should have already been addressed. To sell a product and not have instructions to it with the idea you can call the seller and hopefully contact him, or take your time to scroll through the Internet to find instructions that should come with the product is obviously NOT the way to do business.

You don't build a customer base that way, or get rave reviews with incomplete business practices...just a fact whether you agree with it or not. Then to make smart ass sarcastic comments does not help his customer service or encourage customers who want to install it themselves be willing to refer the product to others. When you guys get down the road aways in life you'll understand what I'm saying here.

Chris-I left you a VM. Please email me instructions for the driving light install before I have to leave town tomorrow. Thank You!

Again I apologize for your unhappiness with my no instructions. It has never been an issue. Sorry for other guys wise ass comments. Im sure that wasn't their intention. Tomorrow I am working on Some video instructions. It hasn't been an issue, and people have said they like the fact that give people my phone number to call when they have questions. I like doing what im doing and much 24/7. My down fall is I dont know when to stop. I am sorry for all of your grief. That was never my intention. Videos will not be done til tomorrow, because I cant get a Tacoma to do the instructions until then. As soon as im done I will let you know.

Although I would have liked to have this completed this morning when it was much cooler out I'll have to make do. I would then typically pull the vehicle in the garage tonight as late as midnight and do the install. Not the kind of thing that would lend itself well to calling Chris at midnight to get instructions.

Chris called me and we have talked. I believe he gets it. His statement-"It's my problem and I'll take care of it" is the kind of attitude that makes one succeed in business rather then fail. He says he will get a video done tomorrow and I trust when I am back in town it will be available to assist me in the install. Great.

As far as you well meaning friends with smart ass comments...those are best kept to yourself as they dont help Chris grow his business. Thanks!

Chris does an amazing job to help who ever needs his assistance, especially with local installs. If he says he will help you out and make videos etc... i believe him.

^You're not the one he called to show up and make the video LOL

Chris is all about quality customer service, and pretty much everything he sells is plug and play, so instruction manuals have never really been needed, unless you are trying to install something where it's not supposed to go, or you didn't fully understand what you are buying... then I suppose you may require one.

But never fear, he'll have the videos up tomorrow.

Wasn't trying to be a smart ass here, my apologies, but I don't like it when someone uses a for sale thread to complain about something that has never been an issue, especially when the guy selling the product works his ass off and makes sure everyone gets what they need. Try just PM'ing or calling him before commenting on his thread about your displeasure, because everyone that has bought his products are happy to have someone as reliable as Chris to provide good service and products through this forum. So when you post in a public thread, especially in TW, smart ass comments always happen, no reason to get all pissy about it. We are all (mostly) here to help.

So I have a question. I have replaced the front DTRL/Turn and the rear Turn with LED versions. (I did not buy these from you of course) Now when used as Turn signals I get the fast blink indicator on the dash as well as both rear and front blink fast. When the four way hazards are on they blink normally. Does this mean that I have to put some kind of resister to make the factory sensors believe that there is in fact not a burnt out bulb?

Yes resisters will fix the problem. I make them very easy to install, and there are instructions to install them. A pair of them are 20. you need 2 pairs. Pm me if I can help you further.

As much as it makes me laugh at the multitude of people that have had this problem on here... I will of course help because that is what TW is for.

You have to have 4 resistors, one on each bulb to keep them from hyper-blinking...
