I chose the flood pattern. Seems like it will be best with the back-up camera and overall vision. But I am waiting for them to ship so I don't know how they look. :p

You are correct. The floods are what I run on my truck and are the most popular.

So how hard are the 700 flood reverse lights to change? Anything special to do or just plug and play like normal?

I just put in the 700 lumen floods last weekend. Just take out the 2 10mm bolts on the tailight and they are plug in play!! I am very impressed with the light output. I am getting about 40 yards of usable light. I have been using them when I go to close gates on my land. Put on ebrake and leave it in reverse and no need for a flashlight any more :D

Good to know! Glad I went with them.

I was wondering how hard would it be to wire a switch that can turn on the reverse lights at anytime.

So question, do the led headlight require a ballist or what ever it's called. I saw another guy on here selling led headlights that required a ballist type thing to keep the LEDs cool? I'm away these aren't like HID and it's prolly not a ballist but that's what it looked like and they were def LEDs that used that thing.

And how hot do the led headlights get? I've heard horror stories of hid's melting headlights
