    Negative....I think painting would defeat the purpose of adding LEDs on there
    It would be alot better just to stay with the stock bulb if you want that orange look to it :thumbsup:

    Thanks, I thought I saw somewhere that you could do something to get that "look" from the reflector inside.

    Kinda, I know I may be a little weird but I like the orange reflection in the bowl but not the big orange bulb.

    Removed the damn stickers!
    Has anyone done the DTRL switchbacks, white/orange, and had the mod to use the outer parking lights as turn signals also? If so, did it work? Did you have LED or incandescent parking light bulbs?

    Reason I'm asking is I installed my DTRL from Chris and also did the turn signal /parking light mod and the DTRL lights would blink on and off randomly for no apparent reason. Thought I had some bad connections or shorts. Then I decided to disconnect the outer parking light incandescent bulbs. DTRL became stable and worked fine through all modes. I could have sworn I saw someone with this setup and it worked. They may have had LED parking lights but I don't know.

    So I'm thinking my choices are to replace the parking lights with LED or get rid of that mod. Any thoughts?

    never seen it but the incadescent bulb may be messing with the resistance. I would personally try LED parking lights.

    I havent done the mod but if there is an incandescent in the mix it can always change the way things are powered and could cause the others in the series ti act wierd.

    My parking lights run as turn signals at night....I used led lights on my truck now.

    Dtrls need some modding for the white/ambers , but the ones yu have stated do not.
