Jumping In

I suppose I should say hello officially since I’ve spent most of my phone battery here the last few months! Lots of lurking and knowledge gaining so far, you guys are awesome. I’m Andrew, and I bought my 2017 TRD Offroad back in April. Always wanted a Tacoma and finally picked one up after retiring my 06 Colorado with 235,000 miles. She served me well but was tired and it was time!



I drove her 6 hours to where I swapped for the Tacoma with 30k miles (did need cash on my end..)
Made a day trip of it, and the drive home turned into more like 10 hours



I’ve done a few things to the truck over the past few months and I’m enjoying making the kickass truck kick more ass.

So far:

Bilstein 5100’s all around with 885 coils up front for 1.5in of lift and an inch block for the rears

U-Bolt flip kit from Wheelers with Superbumps

Falken Wildpeak’s LT265/75r16
Cheapo pro grille
MESO turn signals
LED interior replacements
LED turn signals
Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro amber fogs

Replaced the tail lights with the newer black bezel stockers

De-badged (minus bed sticker-undecided..)

Diff-breather relocate kit from State48

Softopper! -Easily favorite addition thus far.

What’s next/daydreaming:

ECGS bushing will be installed next week(as a preemptive strike) also is the first item I’ve been too nervous to tackle myself

Swap for the 6112/5160 setup, 2” up front and a 1.5AAL for the rear

33” tire (probably of the pizza cutter variety)

Gears and OVTune!

RCI full skid kit
RCI rear bumper
SSO slimline full plate front bumper w/ winch

Then who knows what else or where my soft taco will end up! Looking forward to it all and glad to be here for help and TO help!
