Jumping TRD PRO

I have a pic of my first gen 4x4 (82) with the front wheels off the ground. It felt like I got 'huuuuge air' but in reality was a few inches (that's what she said)

I've been meaning to find that bucket o' pics so I can post up my first Toyota pickup. I should get a rountuit I guess

What’s different between the trd pro and the Colorado zr2 suspension? Chevy says you can jump the zr2. They even include jumps on their test tracks for demos and what not

Until you have coil bucket gussets, and spindle gussets I don't think it should be jumped even the slightest.

But hey if someone wants to be that guy to try and explain it to insurance, or wonder why their truck is fucked by all means

there's a video from car and driver i believe it was of an offroad where on a dirt road they got all 4 wheels off the ground by a few inches, although probably still not the best for these trucks. and all your 'fox tuned' suspension could handle.

for full on jumping like a trophy truck well you're going to need a lot of money to make your truck do that.

ZR2 are known to deploy airbags with modest off roading / xrawling.

This is the 2nd gen pro but he jumps it a couple times and it does pretty good. I also have the same trd pro supsension with superbumps in front and progressive aal in back and it jumps pretty decent as long as I don't get stupid and try to sky it out.

So the trd pro comes equipped with tuned fox shocks, so have y’all ever jumped your Tacoma’s? I do notice the bed vibrates and shakes when going on bumpy roads, it’s not that noticeable I can see it in my mirrors. So has anyone really jumped it or done high speed off-roading or Baja?

A TRDOR is much more capable of a TRDBRO because you can choose how capable you want it to be.
