I love my 4wheel drive.. but when we were cruising back in the faster areas.. my ride was ROUGH. I'm sure it would help if i air down next time.. and maybe got some better suspension.. but you guys definitely have the advantage there. I wish I could go faster on rougher terrain. I'm going to air down next time and see how much hat helos. But in general you guys have a lot better feeling rides than I do. I'm actually thinking of replacing my suspension with either a better coil over system or some LT. Not sre tho. I just want that smoother ride at higher speeds.. and overall.

    Hell yeah!!

mines really rough when i dont air down. so air down to like 18-20 and it will help alot. and go with LT!

I air down when i go to the dunes.. but just wanted to see what the new truck rode like ya know. But now I know. I mean id still like to upgrade the suspension regardless for a better ride. Like I said I just dont know what I want to do yet.

I am definitely in for an overnight trip up there!

Josh you HAVE to air down. it helps alot. better suspension would obviously help to but air is cheaper. lol

i would recommend talking to alot of people and then make a decision. i love my suspension. its not as elaborate as some of them but if im happy, thats all that counts. on the plus side of having a rough ride, you could just get a girl to sit up front. bounce bounce. lol hard to keep your eyes on the road then. lol

I air down a little and I'm very happy with my suspension setup, so even with the 300# of winch/bumpers/armor, I can still get good speeds and it stays quite smooth. I can hit some good dips and jumps without the front end coming crashing down, too. Nothing too crazy, but I can usually keep up just fine with the prerunners.

I'm about to post a sample video montage of the run from the perspective of my windshield cam. You can see how smooth it rides. Stay tuned (publishing to YouTube right now)

Lots of great places to camp up top. Nice and cool, shady pines, and lots of trails. We definitely need to start a separate Crown King camping trip thread.

Yeah it was a mistake. Lol. Like I said I just wanted to see what it was like running air. But also for everyday driving I'd like it to be a little better. don't get me wrong, I love my truck and my suspension. I guess going from my 06 with stock suspension and driving it for 5 years and then to my new one, it will take some getting used to.

Holy crap, I still have 94 minutes of upload time for this 8 minute video on YouTube. Oops, guess I should have compressed it instead of making it 1080p. I'll embed/link it once it's live

Oh yeah, and work has me blocked from YouTube so I have to run it via bluetooth tether to my laptop, and then through my VPN. It's like having 14.4k again.
