Tell me about it I had an easier time hacking out the X-member off the frame than jockeying the crap in the center for the 3 sticks.

 

Last time I went a made it up and down the other side in a bone stock jeep.

 

I'm going a different route with the shifter setup - with the crawlbox it pushes the tcase back another 8" or so.

Yes, absolutely with the issues I had. The main shifter body kept hitting the cab without a body lift, an extra inch certainly would have remedied that. With the body lift you might have to chop more to accommodate the throw though, not sure...


Not having the crawler in front and having a regular cab forced me to make some realllly fucked up bends to stay in the console.

 

I have a short shifter assembly from Mark (NWItaco) for the crawlbox twin stick. I'll also have a similar one for the "stupied low" shifter on the crawlbox.

The suspensions going to happen before the drivetrain mod. I've got the resi mounts all cleaned up & primed already. Once I get the spanner I'll tackle cleaning up the coils.
Anthony is going to handle the spindle gussets for me - dropping them off at his place tomorrow.

Subd because I can't wait to get back up there, That being said, I was there 3 weeks ago and the weekend before they had some bad rain and buggy races, and they REALLY rutted and messed up the trails. Green trails had me nervous like none other, and the blues made me want to shit myself, Maybe they have fixed them, but if you all are game so am I!!
