Only reason we went to the other spot was because of the burn ban. Should be nice and warm at night for you guys to not need a fire even if there is a burn ban.

I can't wait for this trip, planning on putting in my 63's on the 4th. Hope it all works out!

Am I gonna be the only open/open truck there this time?

From the little bit I've read, it sounds like a pretty involved project

Nice.. Your rig is gonna flex out crazy!

I'm making great headway so far w/ the front end for the bumper. Got everything cut off and ground down.. Tomorrow we're boxing the front frame, beefing up the end caps, and welding on a front skid mounting bracket; then hopefully have the bumper on and the winch wired this weekend. Still gotta get the 883s in but wanna wait til the bumper is on so I can decide on whether to use the top spacer or not..

Anybody got a line on some cheap synthetic rope?!? I'm looking for about 75' of 3/8

We'll see! I have everything pretty much ready to go. Just gotta put the leaf packs together this weekend and mark my frame where the center pin is. Hope it works out!

You're gonna have quite the tank Tyler!

We'll.. Due to a career change my wife is gonna ditch her car... and I like to push the limits soo being our DD I can't afford to wreck the thing lol .. My truck needs to wear many hats so I figured that I'd built it right

"Right on top of that Rose!" Haha

But seriously, yes I do. Is there a away to start a new thread but not 'publish' it until I'm done with the OP?

You can edit the OP any time and as many times as you want. I say start a thread with the basics and add as you have time. Shit barely anyone looks at my build but it's really for me to keep track of all the work I did and the adventures I had. I love going through my build and watching all the videos including the ones from my first time wheeling ever.

So what's the scoop with camping at Rausch? Do you need to reserve a spot ahead of time? Cost?

You definitely don't need to reserve in advance. When we got there today, they just asked if we were staying on site. Shitload of Jeeps there today.
