OP if you bought this from a dealership or sales lot and you have paperwork saying you bought an OR you can do something about it. If you bought it privately probably not so much.

Then as long as your title, registration and insurance read correctly, all is right with the world.

I dunno about anywhere else, but when a vehicle goes into a junk yard in Texas, the VIN is reported to the state to confirm no theft, and you can never register that vin on the hwy again.

That’s not entirely true. You can re-register it as “rebuilt” if the junkyard did the paperwork correctly. If it’s done as “non reparable”, then it can never be re registered for road use, if it’s done as “salvage” then is can be re-registered as “rebuilt” and used on public roads.

I think XP is a SR or SR5 with a “black out package”, it’s only available in certain states as it’s not a Toyota model it’s a distributor model, just like TSS.

Damn, OP comes here to see if some junkyard mirrors will work, then finds out he doesn't have the truck he thought he had.
OP, get that hood and you will have a truck that many will be jealous of. I would pull the dash radio bezel and head unit too if still there. Painted rear bumper caps if in good condition. Lots of stuff on that truck will sell quickly here. Good find. Get what you want off of it while you can.

My truck may be white but I’m about to drive to NC for that topper

Also. You do have an SR5. But for some reason a lot of the SR5s are listed as OffRoads. The vin number pops up that way but it is still an SR5
