    ok i see Ur dilema

the box i have does not have the wings or wood block

sits directly on floor................holds MORE than the box U have pictured

will almost come back to the wheel wells..............does NOT have to fit flush with front bulkhead

i guess it could be located between wheel wells if necessary.............if something else was taking up

the first 2feet or so of bed

    clears the wheel wells tho

    designed to fit under tonneau

Yeah I’m thinking I might have to get a regular box without the “wings.” I would prefer the look of them resting on the wheel well, sort of gives the impression that the box was “fitted” to the truck. Oh well.

I see. Looks like the gentlemen in post #35 installed it in a 2nd gen, but you say you were able to fit the same model (UWS TBC42W) into a 3rd gen? Would I run into issues with a short bed possibly? I just worry that with the wheel wells being pushed up closer to the cab that it would create problems.

got nothing for u on the short bed...................

i would think only the length would make a diff ( distance from front to wheel wells )

the box does clear the width by fractions...............soooo

even if from front bulkhead to wheel well was a concern

    the box should fit

i did mount my box 2 inchs in front of bulkhead

i Enlarged the drain holes so they would NOT get blocked

leaves will find there way back there

    other than that
