Having huge aftermarket support is highly desirable for any vehicle. It makes our trucks so much more appealing, so from where I’m at it looks like Toyota is in a great position with all the aftermarket parts available For the DIYer.

The 4th gen gets some partnership with ARB

I’ve been in several dealerships with a showroom truck that has a $8k lift and obnoxious wheels, usually marked up 100%. I’ve seen a few that were well done, but they are always marked up

Huh? Not a true beadlock? It's a dual beadlock wheel. You don't get a better beadlock wheel than Hutchinson.

You are correct. The exploded diagram showed it as a two part wheel and I didn’t see the beadlock ring that went between the beads. And only have to re-torque every 3,000 miles. Much better than every 100 miles on the wheels I’ve owned in the past. If the OP’s granddaughter got these, you get a paycheck!

Dammit. I was hoping for a little bump in the annual money. :rofl:My private slush fund is getting low.

I doubt she has those brand wheels either. Hell I just run the single beadlock wheels and have little issues rolling beads.

You have a 3/36 warranty if that Warn was installed or purchased from Jeep. Jeep has a MoPar part number that they sell them through as a MoPar accessory.

I got faux beadlocks just bc I like the way the wheel looks and real ones arent DOT approve and I’ve heard it’s hard for shops to balance them. Also I don’t want retorque 150 bolts each month.

Sweet rig in the garage there! I can’t wait for EV’s like that.

Pegboard looks cheap as F though, how about some gearwall or Diamondlife?

Nothing says wise financial decisions than financing your mods...

"Authorized" shop isn't a thing, and it doesn't make modifying the vehicle any more road legal that the dealership has done it prior to delivery. If they're not factory accessories, they're not covered under the Jeep warranty and you're not protected from liability for issues related to non DOT conforming parts. So why doesn't Toyota do it? Good question, you'd think they'd take the opportunity to turn a massive profit from installing 2.0 shocks and charging double or triple the cost for an "xtreme stage 3 ultra lift 9000" package like Jeep dealers do.

It’s coming, Trailhunter. If you jump on the website, do a build, go to accessories you can see the partnered with a few companies. ARB, Rhino Rack, Old Man Emu, and a few others.

They too will be building mall crawlers.

Can’t tell you how many Jeeps I see running around built exactly like you described that never been off road…

I think tacoma's run best when left bone stock, the way they were designed to operate. If the owners wants to screw one up by adding mods most will never need, so be it.
