    Stock for now
FCA sells a garbage product to anyone that has a big enough wallet to buy it. The jeep will be cooked by 100k miles. Toyota is focused on providing reliability and a product that lasts a long time. They still have a decent reputation, unlike FCA.

I need more tool boxes. I can't stand the pegboard.

Yep. But, like Toyota, they sell every single one they build and the JK/JLs have good resale value. "Reputation" be damned.

I'm the opposite. My garage came with a pegboard wall, I prefer it over my tool box. Electric cords, levels, brooms, ladders, and sawblades are the most reached for items. To be fair, my tool box has not been used properly in the 20 something years since I got it - it's just been a "find a drawer where the tool fits and lob it there."

I might revisit it after I complete my month long project of organizing my tools (and in the process realizing that I don't have enough tools). I'm down in the hardware sorting part of it at the moment. :burp:

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Lol, did you see me in tree behind you at your last excursion? I was sleeping in a hammock and you never even saw me :)

We'd need more info on this, but I'd say it's highly likely that everything installed was for looks not function... in some serious shit. Probably just paid serious shit for, well, shit. If legit, lets see the details and the price. The reality is most people just finance their validation of self-worth.

    Work in progress...
:der: Finance after market parts on a vehicle? If I ever financed parts on a vehicle it was so I could get my ass to work and get out of what ever hole I must have been in at the time. I have long since drank too much beer to remember...

HA! Ohhhh, that sticker hasn’t made its way to the east coast yet. Maybe I should invest in a little sticker printer, you and I can make some side boot!

Having come from a JKRU for 8 years into a 2020 DCLB in 2022 I can tell you that 75% or more of JK/JL owners did all their own AM work just like we do.
The factory AM support from FCA for the Jeep brand is surprisingly more in depth than you would think.
There are some cool "factory" accessories that Jeep has, but nothing that is anything better than the top Jeep AM accessories.

In the end, I found pouring the money into my Jeep I did was futile, as the reliability was simply not there.

I gotta say, they were still ok on my 2001 tundra when I sold it in 2020.

I just replaced mine and it’s heaven compared to what it was before. Also Tacoma and Tundras a definitely valved differently for different payloads and weight, so it could be that the beefier tundra shocks outlived the Tacoma shocks. Besides the point, when a modification is carefully thought out and planned, it can increase a the quality of the vehicle from the factory 9 times out of 10. Tacomas (and all cars) were manufactured with a budget in mind to make them sellable, meaning there are better parts than what came from factory.
