    It could go one of two ways. You can not hang around this guy any more (so in that case what he did will not be important) or you can still be buddies and let water under the bridge (at this point it still won't matter because you have gotten past that point and agreed things would be cool...)

    So again, try not to let this upset you or stress you out. Give it time, give it a breather. Don't talk to him for a while and see if he contacts you asking what's up. From there you just be honest. And by then you will be cooled down a bit and maybe work things out. Perhaps he will see how rude he was.
