Today I pulled up to the stop light at the end of my block and looked in rearview mirror, there was me in my black 4 door 2ng gen Tacoma TRD sport, then directly behind me a 2012-2014 black 4-door TRD sport tacoma and behind him a black 4 door 2005-2011 TRD sport Tacoma. Wish i could have been a little burdy on the side of the road with a camera :)

So driving down the block I took notice, we have I think 22 houses if you count both sides of the road on the block, counted 2 4WD 2nd gen, 1 2nd gen pre-runner, (then of course me) and 1 1st gen pre-runner, and 2 1st gen 4WD Tacomas.

not a bad ratio in favor of Tacomas :)

    cheers,
    disco

They're a popular truck. Sharp looking, reliable make, hold their value like nobody's business, and one of the few trucks you can still get with a manual these days.

On top of that, it seems like they're pretty damned customizable. Lots of build options out there.

if you ever want to quit being an sarcastic, well you know, i am always happy to share with members how to travel safely

Once again I leave here disappointed in you.
Safely as in above the posted speed limit at night without lights, yes I'm all ears.

i do not understand the negativity?

THERE IS NO SUPER BAT REARVIEW MIRROR STUPID CRAP THAT THE IDIOT MEMBER CALLED

    Boone Taco mentioned!

he was making an ignorant statement trying to make a joke of some sort about the money i invested in my countermeasure system.

to boone and all the others, face it, it is a fact, i own it, you can to, it works and quit posting negative comments on issues you know nothing about please!

the system he is talking about is a linked countermeasure system

    - Escort 9500ix
    - 6 Escort Shifters/Jammers
    - Dedicated Droid smart phone with 4G data link and LCD display next to the steering column
    - direct connection to a live database of law enforcement vehicle
    - digital 3x checked GPS verified speed shown at eye level
    - then i have an earbud hooked to the system which in real time feeds me data about everyting going on.

which allows me to travel, and at all times monitor location of LEO's, also drive and never have to look down at the speedometer.

i always know in real time without looking away from the road what is around me.

    cheers,
    disco

only drawback, now that i bought an insurance agency and got my agent/producer license and also adjuster license, in the fine print on all auto policies, it directly states NONE of the equipment is covered on a comp or collision claim, so if its stolen, your SOL! damaged in a wreck your SOL!

again going by the BY THE LETTER of policy, the jammers/shifters CAN possibly be covered because they offer proximity data which can also be considered a safety enhancement. just would depend on your adjuster i guess. but BY THE LETTER OF POLICY could be covered

    cheers,
    disco
