don't tap in, millions of other vehicles have similar type equipment/systems, they detect and report locations to a central database realtime. just as mine does. there is also an 'override' i guess ya call it, if i physically see something the system did not detect and other need to know i push a button and in real time all others are alerted.

example, the manual alert reads a different display on the LCD and different tone in ear-bud, last thursday on I-10 there was an unmarked LEO helping a person with a broke down car, i got the system alert and about 50 manual alerts in a minute. (kinda hurt the ols ear drumb for a few seconds lol)

you set your own radius, like if i want alerts for 1/4 mile away or 5 miles away or more, etc

    cheers,
    disco

I think for $3000 dollars I can live with driving the speed limit and using headlights. I have a 4 banger anyway it's not that fast.

I don't know why Disco is so upset with you. It sure sounded like you were complimenting him on his ultra police evading mirror bat camera to me.

$3000 just to speed. I don't get it. That could buy so many other goodies, not to mention the memories you can make with your family. Probably one of the silliest things I have heard of spending money on.

I feel like I missed something. Did Disco at one point say something about driving around without his headlights on? Not sure how that helps keep a low profile. People will just shoot their brights at you and/or honk. Must be some other thread.

Some people criticize me because I usually wave at police officers. Seems like the courteous thing to do.

Props to Door Ding for his citing of the .gov websites.

Although the banter between disco and others was pretty funny.
