Not sure if this has been covered) Has anyone moved the ipod/Aux jack just behind the dash and routed a permanet ipod cable to the glovebox so its out of sight out of mind? Just order a new blank to cover the hole. Not sure if this can even be done but has anyone tried it before i go tearing into my dash for no reason?

I saw a mod where someone installed the console lock box and routed her iPod into it through a hole cut in the bottom. You could always plasti dip the white cable so it isn't visible from the outside, too.

    Here is what I did:

Have since cleaned up the hole ... ran cable through console ... you really can't see this cable while driving or sitting in the passenger's seat.

    Drilled hole in front ...

There is enough of a gap under the console cover to slide out cable ...

Havent moved the audio adapter in the pocket yet but this is what I did with my USB...I got tired of having cords stringing from the stock location over to that pocket under the steering wheel where I keep my phone/ipod.

Seems to me you could locate your audio in the same way.

I think that running it to the armrest storage is a good idea.
