    I spent some time under the truck this weekend going diff fluid, front brakes and oil change.

    while under there I saw that my brand new (less then two months old) passenger CV axle had a cut boot already :annoyed:

    The parts are lifetime warranty but I don’t wanna take it back to the shop and waste my time

    From that first pic, it looks like it got sliced or severely nicked by something. It doesn't look like it got "worn" out.

    Yeah I don’t know what would’ve sliced it haven’t even gone off road yet and the CVs are less than two months old

    Take it back and see if they will cover it under warranty. If so, keep that new one as a spare.

    yeah it’s lifetime warranty on the CV axles I just don’t know if I’m gonna have to pay for them to put another one in less than two months out or what

    They may cover the part cost......you may need to cover the labor cost.

    Read your written warranty. It should detail what is covered and exceptions.
