Bought a 2014 Tacoma regular cab 4x4 base with automatic this past weekend. Going to add cruise control, intermittent wiper stalk, change the stereo...for now. Looking around at my options on how to do the mods myself as it seems there are no shops here in town that will do the work. Great to have found this site...hope my elementary questions don't get me beat on too badly.

Thanks Doug or Bob...sorry, still brand new, can't figure out your name even :( Looks like you are an old fart like me, so hope the things that I am gonna ask about get a chuckle or whatever as this is all new to me. Went to a couple of aftermarket places here in town to see if they would add the cruise control/intermittent wiper stalk and all I got was crickets chirping. Watched some videos and it looks pretty simple...taking out the airbag to put the cruise control on scares the bejeebers out of me! Yeah, I know, already been told that if the battery is unhooked there is no way the bag will deploy...again, old fart :) Guess I first have to figure out if my truck has the harness all hooked up and it is a simple matter of plug and play with the cruise and the wiper add-ons.
