Pfftt. The kitchen is a mans domain. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a tool. Seen all the chef shows? 90% men.

I get pissed when my wife comes in the kitchen when I'm cooking.

This is the woman who lit a sandwich on fire. I mean literally aflame. There is carbon scoring on the inside of my fucking toaster oven because of her.

I agree somewhat. Men should cook as much as the woman IMO.

Don't knock it until you try it. Single life creativity, FTW!

To the OP; sorry to hear that things are rough. Whether he's breaking up with you for himself, some other broad or himself, kick his ass out. If he's man enough to break up with you, he's man enough to support himself. I had a rough breakup about a year ago with a girl that I could have seen myself marrying. Things were rough for a couple weeks. Then one Sunday morning she woke up and wanted to talk. After talking things through for a couple hours, BEWM, she broke up with me. I had moved into her house that she bought (paid rent and was Mr. Fix-It, Mr. I-Don't-Like-That-Paint-Color-Any-More-So-Fix-It, and took care of the mowing/snow removal *pat myself on the back*). When I asked her if dumping me was her final answer (maybe not in quite those words), I moved out. Rented a U-Haul, packed up my stuff into the trailer and my Tacoma, and that was it. Took a few months to get over her, and the aftermath of the breakup was a little rough. Looking back, it was the best thing that could have happened between Michelle and I.

Go out with your Tacoma, rip it up a bit a the bars and trails with some friends, and enjoy the freedoms of being single and independent.

By the way, anyone who tells you "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all" right now can piss off. It hurts, and depending on how attached you are/were to him, it'll hurt for some time. That's part of the healing process.

There's a light at the tunnel, you just might have to squint to see it right now.

you need to reread that. if that is true, he did you a favor, regardless of how it hurts at the moment. when you're ready, next time find a guy that is not a bum and will make more of an effort in the relationship. sorry to sound so cold, but it sounds to me like you've let your heart make a bad decision for you.

Man-up (or woman-up) and throw his ass out! No offense, but he sounds like a worthless, ungrateful POS and he's giving guys everywhere a bad name. Tell him to get off his lazy ass and have fun supporting himself for a change. Not trying to be insensitive but he needs to learn some life lessons the hard way.

what i meant to say last time as well... as you need to take a hard look at yourself and ask yourself WHY you would let a guy treat you like this. why do you allow yourself to stay in a bad, unhealthy relationship? you can be mad at him all you want - but your anger may really be better directed at yourself for letting you be in this kind of relationship. your homework now is to figure some of that stuff out so you end up in a healthy relationship in the future, one where a man contributes in all the ways he should. he sounds like a man that was constantly taking, not giving.
