    Howdy.
    Noob here.
40 sumthin' guy in Pasadena, CA, originally from Texas.
Been driving a 1997 Taco 5sp since, well, 1997. Just rolled over 100k miles, but it's time for a new one.

Looking to get a 2015 Double Cab, Short Bed, V6 4x4, 6-sp manual, off-road package .. then put the Icon Stage 3 lift (3") with some flat black bead lock wheels (Method, Walker Evans, ??)

Any feedback on the lift, wheels, etc would be appreciated.

    Great to be on here!

EDIT: doh.. should I have started a new thread for the intro? Didn't mean to hijack ToyotaCowGirls' Thread..

That'll work. Let me know if you want a referral to my service manager friend, hope it gets sorted out. My catalytic converter failed and it drove fine, but I know how it sucks when something isn't right. My truck rattled for 2 weeks before a new cat came in and my OEM tires were shot and waiting on tires to be delivered, so it basically sucked to drive for 2 weeks, made tons of rattle noises constantly from the converter failing and the honeycomb bouncing around, and driving it on the freeway was vibrating like crazy through the steering wheel and floorboard. Hated it.

sounds awful... I am gonna have my mechanic/dad look at it this weekend... I havent even mentioned it to him since it just came up today. Im really not that worried... It could be something as simple as turning up the idle.
