rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.

Long life? Ive got a 1969 vehicle that I bet has never seen a diff fluid change.
Water immersion? Something Taco off roaders would encounter. When do you change fluids?
Temperate climates? Warm summers, cold winters, bring in foul airs....

What have you seen on your tacos?

Worst I've seen has been in the trans/ rear end of tractors. The water goes down the shifter boot , the tractor sits, and stuff gets ugly/ ;-)
