Something inside my sick brain wants to see the $99.95 paint job, that's fade free for 4 years.

I noticed. And 5% limo tint on the windshield.

That car would be pimpin’ in the SoCal section of PriusChat.

This officially covers all the scales except for the most common, HO. I should prolly seek help.
    I have managed to collect G, O, On30, N and now the Z.

    Z Scale.

    On30, N, Z

not that its similar except its in regards to trains but we've been on the hunt for a lego train for around the Christmas tree. I had a set as a kid and now that im visiting my parents i pulled it out and i feel like a kid again. However, the tracks and electrics are well over 25 years old and all need to be replaced and i look at lego and they have a whole new set up now. So what was meant to be dust off and plug in has turned into a lot more.

    ha
lego trainsets have become super expensive too... might as well get hobby grade stuff for the price you pay for out of production lego kits... i started to look at the city speed train set released earlier in the year... but it is not on track and is a play set not a motorized train.

A good cleaning might make it run fine again. Most common mistake is over oiling the things.
I strip mine down to bare motor and give it a 90% alcohol bath, clean off any chassis grime and put it back together with just the tiniest drop of Tri Flow on the end of each shaft bearing.
Pulling the trucks apart and cleaning the gears helps a lot too.

Ballasted the entire track this morning before heading off to "work". Took about an hour and a half for the whole thing.

And apparently Irish me started filling the lake last night. Really wasn't ready for that just yet, but here we are.

Bored, waiting for karaoke to start, so here's a few pics from today.

    My full consist of caboose.

Newest locomotive. Bought it 2nd hand with a "like new, appears to never have been run" description.
    Of course, it didn't run.
Took the little guy apart and the wheel and gear sets were stuck , managed to clear out what looked like loctite, freed it all up and a few drops of Tri Flow, and it appears to run like new.

So i got lucky with that one

    My potato cam needs upgraded.
Finished the lake, added free range cows.
This pretty much finishes the layout.

Waiting impatiently for the Z track to show up just in time for spring weather so that it can be set aside till next winter...
