sawzaw, cut B and C posts and roof just past windsheild and go for the jeep / bronco look.

I mean, may as well make a beater truck out of it now!

And now that it was topless you would for sure have to do a cage, which would necessitate full DTF +6 LT up front and 4 linked rear.

Damn, that sucks man.... sorry to hear about that.

Quick question - You have leather interior? I didn't know leather was an option. I would have added that when I bought mine :(

LMAO, If I had the money to do that I would...This will be a DD so I have to keep cab enclosed.

The original owner of the truck I believe had the leather interior installed aftermarket. I found a card in the glovebox from the company who did the seat work. As far as options, shoot anything should be an option, you want it that way and have the money I am sure they will build it for a new truck.

Otherwise there is a company I have read that does great leather work and the pricing is supposedly not to bad. https://katzkin.com/interior-selector

Got my truck back Thursday! Shop did a great job minus two things A) They did not run the wire for my remote start back under the headliner and B) I found two small holes in my rear leather upholstery.

The wire was easy to re route, I pulled the driver side "oh sh*t" handle and column off, zip-tied it up and stuck it up in the front of the liner with double sided tape to where it was originally mounted. The leather on the other hand I plan to talk to the shop about them getting it repaired or replaced.

When the rain stops here I will post up some pictures of the repaired area.

I don't rely solely on the cam but I do use it for various reasons, mainly while backing in to a parking space. The 'red line' is nice for gauging how close I am to the vehicle behind me when finishing.

Other than that I always double check my mirrors and still turn my head periphally...I'm old school I guess.

I think that's about all they're good for. That and backing up to attach trailers.

Doesn't the screen say something along the lines of "Do not rely solely on camera"? My girlfriend's mom's BMW does, even boat GPS' and charts explicitly state to not rely on them for all navigational needs.

Yes yes I know I originally said "Free" and then came back and said it added to my monthly payment. After I got to the house and started reading through the agreement after my nerves had chilled (this was the first big vehicle purchase I have ever made with out a co-signer) I realized that I had let them get me on the add-ons. I have since canceled everything except the Gap insurance so I am back to just the basic 7 year/100K drivetrain warranty.

Also no my camera does not say do not rely solely on the camera, also a first technology for me in a vehicle so I guess I can say this truck has given my a huge learning curve right off the bat. :deadhorse:

Here is the truck I am coming from, 2002 Tundra w/ 236k+ on it, been driving it since 2007. Picked this one up used w/89k on it, it's been a pretty good truck and will be now be my work truck/back up vehicle when mods start on the Tacoma.

$60 for an oil change lol they saw you coming.

The point was $360(plus interest) is not "free". This has been covered already. Op got refunded for the "free" services.

Oh I understand it's not free but what in this world is? And mine is synthetic 0w-20 so $60 is the standard oil change price. :goingcrazy:

Heck I'm happy to pay it too. I've always done my own oil changes but my truck takes 6.25 quarts so I have to buy 7 quarts. I use Mobile 1 full synthetic which is 8.99 a quart plus the oil filter. It's just as cheap, if not cheaper, to pay them. Plus I don't have to deal with the old oil.
