Accept it and move on so you can enjoy the truck. Just makes sure to make them fix every little possible thing that you can come up with for the rest of the warranty.

Do you have another Toyota dealership in the area. I would take it there for service if you did. I have about 6 within an hours drive. You might get me once, but you won't get me again.

It's pretty hard to shop around up here. Most of the dealerships are no haggle, and will only offer you rock bottom prices on trade-ins, etc. They know because of the distance to any other dealerships that they have the market cornered. Also, a lot of vehicles are sold here to Canadians, who are more than happy to pay sticker price because its still cheaper than what they would pay in Canada, so as a buyer, it's difficult to deal with that. Lithia literally has zero Tacomas on the lot, so to get one in, you'd be trying to negotiate price, but still have them find one for you to be shipped in, which they aren't likely to do of there's one similar available on the lot. If VonElling had not bought it for that price, someone else would have, and the complaints would be the same, just from a different user on the forum.

I know this is a super old bump on this thread, but I just wanted the OP to know that I did virtually the same thing at the same Lithia Toyota of Grand Forks. I paid 28k for my 2010 last summer with 16k on it. They were the most helpful dealership until I signed the line, and then they turned into a complete pile of shit. Salesman, management, service department. All of them were some of the rudest most unhelpful people in the 'service' industry that I have ever dealt with.
